High voltage protection of R series laser tubes

In this article, what we share is how high and low voltage lines of the R series laser tube are connected.

Material preparation:

One high-voltage line, one low-voltage line, one 9mm silicone tube, one 5mm heat-shrinkable tube, one 10mm heat-shrinkable tube, one 704 high-pressure insulating rubber tube, one solder, one welding torch and one hot air gun.


Step 1:

Fit a 5mm heat shrink tubing over the low pressure line.

Pull out the low-voltage copper wire, wrap it tightly around the low-voltage end electrode and  make sure it is tight.

After the solder is melted with a torch, place the melting on the copper wire.

Make sure the welding position is firm.

When the soldering temperature decreases, fit heat shrink tube over the joint part of low pressure solder.

Use a heat gun to tighten the heat shrink tubing.

Fit 9mm silicone tube and 10mm heat shrinkable tube on the high voltage line.

Put apart the copper wire inside the high voltage wire, wrap it tightly around the high voltage end electrode and make sure it is tight.

After the solder is melted with a torch, place the melting on the copper wire.

Make sure the soldering is firm, then fill the silicone tube with 704 high-pressure insulating glue and ensure that the 704 glue is filled in the silicone tube.

Fit the silicone tube filled with 704 glue over the high voltage electrode.

Fix a 10 mm heat shrink tube over the silicone tube.

Tighten heat shrink tube with a heat gun.

Connect the high voltage line.


Note: When the connection procedure is finished, keep it for 1.5 hours. Place the laser tube on the machine when the 704 glue is completely solidified.
